The
farm which is now the University of Massachusetts Cold Spring Orchard
Research & Education Center was purchased by the Massachusetts Fruit
Growers' Association and donated to the University of Massachusetts in
1962. It houses numerous active research and educational projects with
the goal of enhancing the abilities of individuals to grow fruit in Massachusetts.
A donation hear will contribute directly to this season's operating funds.
