The Massachusetts Fruit Growers' Association maintains an endowment in support of fruit research and operation at the UMass Cold Spring Orchard Research & Education Center. This endowment, the MFGA Horticultural Researh Fund, began nearly 20 years ago and now grants $10,000 to $15,000 to the University annually in support of projects which benefit fruit growers. Donations to this fund will ensure future research in support of fruit growing in Massachusetts.
